Whenever I press the gas pedal, the engine's sound is so loud. Does someone have the same problem? And I feel it not smooth.
For the smoothness problem, are you using premium fuel? If not, then give it a try and see if it improves. For how loud the engine is, is the plastic engine cover installed? They help quiet down the engine somewhat. Also check the exhaust for loose connections or leaks.

often I use 91 and 95 fuel, the plastic all the time cover. Exhaust does not leak.
I have been in and driven the current and prior generation CX-5 and the engine itself I find quieter but the road noise is more noticeable compared to the NX. USA CX-5's as far as I know are not turbocharged and the engine produces less power according to specs, so I do expect the NX engine to be louder.
I was going to make a thread, but today when I was doing errands every-time I pressed on the throttle I heard a slight whistle. It was only when I pressed on the throttle. It wasn't the turbo because I have drove turbo cars before, and the turbo makes a more profound noise than this whistle. I wanted to see if anybody else was experiencing this on their NX. Slight whistle from the engine when you're on the throttle, and only on the throttle.
I have a 2018 nx300 sound more like an EV car accelerate than a gas engine.
I wonder if it has anything to do with the cold weather or I only drive it once or twice a week.
