Has anyone heard of any reason for Lexus cars made in Japan to be held up on the west coast? My ordered NX has been there since Oct.10th. I think eventually it’s to come by train to Chicago then by truck to Ohio.

The car was made Sept.18 and left Japan the 28 and reached the states Oct.10th. The dealer has no knowledge as to why the delay. 🤔

 

I hope your car was not damage during shipping and need repair at port.

maybe the fires in area blocking rails. maybe it got lost. maybe its waiting for movement/delivery orders.

 

I don't know of anything specifically that would hold vehicles up coming into the west coast. I have one coming over that was built Oct. 15th and should arrive at port Nov. 19th but I think it's coming to somewhere on the east coast.
