Last night I drove 80 miles at night in bad rain and I found the lights bad,I had a 2016 Mercedes with LED lights which were great .On the NX the low beam were too low and the main beam did not travel far enough
can I raise the low beam to go further ?
can I fit brighter main beam bulbs,the stock bulbs are 60 watt,can I fit 100 watt without damaging the wires.
has anyone done any modification that made them better..

what is the button on the interior mirror for,it lights up when I press it but I can't see it making any change

should be youtube vids on how to adjust your headlights. i had my dealer adjust my old lexus for free....was one time adjustment.

 

Just do a quick search in this model forum and you will find a discussion of the little dial you need to adjust to raise the aim. Be careful and adjust in very small increments to ensure you aren’t blinding oncoming traffic - as described by others in the thread. There are discussions of this issue in each of the Lexus model forums. Lexus is well known for taking a conservative (low) aim with their headlights.

First thing I did when we bought the car was to adjust the headlights, Toyota/Lexus always aim their headlights on the low end of the spec.
