Default NX 300h, under engine cover (or splash shield under engine)

Hi all,

I have a NX 300h 2018, and I did my first oil change at the dealership on Jan 2019. After the oil change, I have had the impression that the road noise was louder but I was not completely sure.

After reading this thread, carlolexus's question at response #36.

https://www.clublexus.com/forums/nx-...15-nx200t.html

I went to check under my NX 300h engine and I don't have this cover which covers the oil tank and the oil filter area.

I wonder if someone with a NX 300h can have a look and take a picture under the engine or check if the NX 300h has cover or not before I go to complain and blame the dealership.

The 1st part of the cover extending the front bumper has couple holes, where clips can be attached leaving the feeling that there should be 2nd part cover for the oil tank and oil filter area.

Thank you.

Alex.

So that means there should be a cover for the area I showed in the above pictures correct?

I can go and blame the dealership now.

Thank you Tel.

No. That means you go back to dealer and look under several of hybrid NXs of your age. BEFORE you raise riot. Hybrids have different power train layout and you may end up making fool out of yourself. TEL didn't specify, if his NX is hybrid or not. And I do not recall any weird belly pans covering oil pan on my NX.

My NX is 2019 NX 300h F-Sport with Takumi Pack which is a £4500 Factory Option in Europe.

And European market vehicles are made different from Russian market ones and different from US market ones.
Dealer and look underneath. Best bet.

Hello,

I have a 2020 NX (base, gas).

Can anyone tell me if there is suppose to be a 'splash guard' underneath where my oil filter is located? If so, is it difficult to detach/attach?

I haven't been under there since it's ccccccold out, but I will have to go under there soon.
