If this doesn't work try this

WHILE PARKED: Go to Menu, Settings, General, there are more option below Vehicle, just keep trying to scroll down, be persistent, now you will get more options, select Navigation, Detailed Navi Settings, and finally turn this off: Automatic Free Exit List

 

Thanks. I previously tried going to the Detailed Navigation Settings that people has success with on the earlier NX's but apparently Lexus has decided to REMOVE the Automatic Freeway Exit toggle in the later models. So, with that said, it appears I'm stuck with stupid pop-up every time I get on the highway. VERY ANNOYING.

 

It was the #2 annoying thing when I had the LC. #1 was random music play wasn’t random, it played the same sequence EVERY time the vehicle was started. Lexus just can’t seem to do infotainment properly, the reason I sold it.

 

You sold your Lexus LC500 because the music didn’t shuffle?

 

There’s a way to turn off the Highway exits. I’ve driven a couple NX loaners. And never had this problem.

What year NX do you have? Have you searched through a PDF copy of your owners manual?

 

It's a 2019. I've searched everywhere and can't find anything.

Car is at Lexus now for service and I'm gonna ask for their "tech guru" when I pick it up and see what he/she can tell me. Like you, I think there has to be a way to get rid of it somehow.

 

 

yup. One of the 3 reasons. Drove me crazy, playing the same track every time you startup (in random play).

 

What was the other two reasons you sold your car? The tire tread block pattern did not look appealing or the oil fill cap was the wrong color?

 

I listed 2 of the three, can’t you read?? Since you seem so vested in my concerns, lack of trunk space was #3.

 

I got in touch with the lady in that video posted above AND my dealer where my car is at getting 30K service and both confirmed there is NO WAY to get rid of the Freeway Exit pop-up. Apparently whenever they added Carplay to Entune system, it removed the ability to turn this stupid crap off. You can have your crApple carplay back if you give me back the option to get rid of these friggin' freeway exit pop-ups. Brilliant Lexus.

 

I didn’t have CarPlay on my LC, and couldn’t turn it off. I don’t think it’s really tied to that.

 

I get the feeling the folks you talk to at the Lexus dealerships don't know crap half the time. LOL
