Default A couple misc questions

Audio: I can turn on the audio/radio via mode button on steering wheel. Is there a way to turn off radio via steering wheel, or must I use the button on the actual radio?

Navigation: on my Garmin, I was able to use STOP button if I wanted to let the device know I no longer wanted the destination.
Where on the NX system, how do I stop the current destination? In options I see pause but not stop.

Thanks for any responses. Some day I need to read all the fine print in the manual.

Two ways that I know of:
  1. Use the voice command, "Delete destination".
  2. Click the on-screen button on the nav map, "Dest.", and then choose "Del. Dest".

Say the following voice command, "Turn music off" and the radio/CD player, etc. turns off.

To pause an HD station or to mute any audio (without turning everything off), simply press and hold the "Mode" button on the steering wheel for a couple of seconds. To unmute, simple press the volume control switch or turn the volume ****.

[QUOTE=NXOwner;9523164]Two ways that I know of:

The way we do it in Singapore is "Route" -> "Delete Route". But when we enter an address it's under "Add Destination", there isn't an option to "Delete Destination".

It's like different people worked on different parts of the Nav system and just put it all together without someone to streamline everything.

Geiger, you have to push the start button again, to get it into full ACC mode.
Once is Radio/Infotainment only
Twice is gauges, windows, Info, Wipers, etc.

Pressing it once will be "ACC". Only radio and power outlet works.

Pressing it the second time means all the electricals are working.

The radio can be paused from the steering wheel by holding onto the middle button, and to get it going, have to hold on to i, or else it'd just change to a different source by hitting it just once.

To resume (or unmute) the radio, simply press the volume up (or down) button.

FYI, HD radio is actually paused, where as other radio (including satellite) is just muted. You can go the radio screen to scroll back, scroll forward, or jump ahead back to the live HD program.
