Power tail-gate strut problem
Anyone else had a problem with a tail-gate strut coming away from the mounting plate?
Recently it's happened to me twice when the tailgate failed to close because the strut had come adrift. Managed to re-open the tailgate and clip the strut back on.
Lexus are in the process of organizing a replacement strut and to also repair the damage caused by strut jamming against the body of the car.
