Does anyone know how to move around the map? I seem to be unable to do it.

If I do it, it moves in the opposite direction for a bit then stops. I was thinking it was like PC games where you hold the mouse on the edge of the display and keeps moving until you get off the edge.

Is it supposed to be a quick swipe?

One way is to move the cursor to anywhere on the map where there is not an active button and tap twice (or press in the pad). To quickly get back to where you physically are, simply move the cursor to the little icon at the bottom of the screen (looks like a circle with a pointer/triangle at the bottom) and tap/press it.

I know how to get back to the centre, but I am having trouble moving around the map. It seems to move in the opposite direction (moving the cursor up maps the map scroll down.

I'll try again and report later.

You can customize the scroll direction, speed, etc. by changing the touchpad's configuration.

Check out this link.

You sir, I owe a coffee to!

Thank you so much it works. I actually went to the dealer today and asked for help and they told me to bring it in. I just sent them a friendly e-mail telling them it's a little ridiculous that these options should be in the menu, not pressing a combination of buttons to change a setting.

The other issue that I worked out earlier is that to move around the map, you move once to the edge and swipe as many times as you need to get to the area. I had the impression that the map was meant to keep scrolling as long as you had the cursor at the edge.

Interestingly enough some of these customisations require the back buttons, which my Australian NX doesn't have. I'm not sure if we have a different button combination to change the settings that require the back button.
