8 speed automatic 200t
Now that the IS 200t is official and has been announced to have an 8 speed automatic, do you think the 8 speed will come to the NX200t anytime soon?
I guess one thing holding this back is that I don't think there is an AWD in this range that uses an 8 speed. Even the new IS300 AWD uses a six speed.

An 8 speed has been around for quite some time. The 8 speed in the IS"350" rwd was simply stolen from the previous gen IS-F.
Personally, this "let's see how many gears we can shove in it" is ridiculous. IS-F owners complained about it because the car chronically shifts all the time. jeep has had issues with their 8 speeds, and so has Acura.
Anything over a 6 speed is simply a gimmick to brag to your friends IMO.
Anything you can do in a 8 speed, I bet I can top with a 6 speed manual lol
