Default headlight washer

I'm trying to figure out how to use the headlight washer. Was searching through the manual and no words on how to use it. First time never having a car with such feature. Can anybody advise? Thanks

It engages when the headlamps are on and you engage the windshield washer fluid.

Is this feature beneficial to you all? Just wondering since I live in Hawaii, and I wouldn't see any use for it. Some of you have snow, ice and salt, which I guess would help. If I had it, I would just see myself having to wipe the headlights and bumpers all the time to get the washer residue off....

It engages ONLY when the lights are on ....AND...only 1 out of every 5 times you engage the windshield washer.

Personally, not of great value most of the time but the odd time in winter night driving when roads are dirty, it can help clean the dirt off the headlamps brightening the road a little more.

They would help delay the inevitable stop on the side of the road to rub snow on your lights to clean them.

Only those of us in the northern climates have had that problem.
