Let me estimate the shipping costs using either USPS, UPS, or FedEx. I'll get back to you.

It's going to be around $45 USD just for shipping. Other carriers were much more expensive. Unfortunately, (and based on that shipping price) you're better off buying it directly from iJDMTOY.

Thanks for helping me out. I was thinking if you were to strip the packaging and just send it in an envelope with just the bulbs...

Original quote was for a "USPS flat-rate small box international": USD$45.

For comparison:

Flat rate small padded envelope - $2 less expensive than original quote
Flat rate small non-padded envelope - same as above
Basic first-class international envelope (with more than 1/4" variation in thickness): $10 less expensive than original quote
Basic first-class international envelope (with less than 1/4" variation in thickness): $20 less expensive than original quote

I don't want to be liable for sending in a envelope. Insurance would add to the price and (frankly) I wouldn't want to be bothered with insurance claims, returns, etc.

That's fine. Thanks for the help.

I have run out of ideas of how to get these things at a reasonable price!

1Putt,

Any comments on the iJDM lights? Or anyone still doing these mods?

They've been great, no issues whatsoever. I also am using them in the front turn signals since I have a base US model with the US standard LED DRL that has a regular non-LED turn signal bulb. Highly recommended

I really hope too. I might need help removing the rear light housing haha.

The front is so premium with the triple-beam headlights and LED turn signals, the back also look good with the factory tail lights but the incandescent glow of the rear just cheapens the whole car.

For the rear tail light housing, make sure to tape off the surrounding painted areas with painters tape so they don't get scratched or marred by accident when removing or putting back in the housings. It takes some force to get them out. I recall seeing a DIY thread somewhere here

I just posted a "How-To"/"DIY" video and photos of how I converted my rear turn signal bulbs to LEDs. Check it out here.

Default LED turn bulbs - UK

Hi to all, I am new to Lexus here in the UK and i am having similar difficulties with swapping the turn signal bulbs to LED. I bought some which do not have resistors however when installed and checked they worked perfectly when testing with the hazard flashing button. But they hyperflash when used independently? Any ideas?

You need to buy ones with built-in resistors. For the rear turn signals, there is no room to be placing a separate resistor wired in with the bulb

Thanks - the JDMtoy examples earlier in the thread work i see however i cannot find any in the UK - if i order 4 of these it will be $160 including shipping from L.A. which is a bit steep for 4 bulbs.
