My dealer has good discount on accessories, but I am not sure if they are that useful in real life.
What do you guys feel about:
1. Bumper protector
2. Cargo mat versus plastic cargo tray
3. Door **** protector
Thanks, corrado. Why would you prefer mat over plastic tray? Isn't the tray more durable than mat?
For my light duty needs (groceries and occasional family trip luggage), the carpeted cargo mat suits my needs and looks richer and more inviting than the plastic mat.

Agree about the carpeted cargo mat. Didn't have anything more than that for the 9 1/2 years I was driving my 2006 RX400h (which is what my NX300h replaced). Most of the time, my cargo consisted of golf clubs, some luggage, and the very occasional moving of household furniture and large boxes. Just invested in the Lexus NX all weather mats for the front/rear seats, but didn't see the need to spend more for the same for the cargo area. If my needs change, it can always be purchased later (or go with something like the LL Bean waterhog mat).
We have the plastic cargo tray in the NX, and we really like it. We have it in the RX too, and it's better integrated in the NX as it covers the rear seat backs too. Personally I think it looks fine, and it means you don't have to worry when you throw stuff in the back.

1. You can get a better bra put on aftermarket (xpel). You can then also decide how much of the car it covers.
2. My car is coming with a cargo mat, and then I'm going to buy the cargo tray the day I pick the car up. That way, for most things, I won't care to use the mat, but if I'm heading to the hardware store, I can throw the tray in.
3. No idea what this is but I don't see a need for it.
- Plastic Boot Liner (easier to maintain)
- Mud Flaps (OEM look)
- Illuminated Door Sills
- Black Plastic Bumper Protector with Lexus logo on it
not getting the following,
- Running board - don't like the look of it and makes the ground clearance worst.
- and Weather visor - makes it hard to wash and dry (had a few on my previous previous cars)
- Door **** protector - will leave a mark after a while / uneven paint marks
