The original cargo carpet mat slides (mostly toward the rear door). I usually keep the netting attachment fixtures down flat, so there's nothing to keep it from moving. Any suggestions on how to keep it in place? Some kind of carpet clip?
I pulled the carpet out of mine to use the all-weather version, but doesn't the carpet have small holes in the base (near the rear door) that velcro can run through? That should create an anchor point to hold it in place.
has anyone had experience with all weather cargo mat from lexus? how are they compared to other brands and is there reason why it is a two piece design?
I went with Lexus cargo mat instead of the WeatherTech version because of the 2-pc design in case I need to use the 3rd row. With the WeatherTech, if you need to use the third row, you not only have no mat behind 3rd row, you will now need a place to store the cargo mat. At least with the Lexus version, when you use the 3rd row, the piece you need to store is smaller.

I got the Lexus all-weather one. I liked the two piece due to the ability to use with the third row. They interlock so it still fully covers the floor. There seems to be a lot of coupons on eBay going around the last couple of months, so you may be able to grab on 15%-20% off.
