I've installed the Helix DSP Pro together with 2 Mosconi amps to drive new speakers, an expensive but worthwhile mod!

I find if your not running active. A reg helix dsp is good enough. I run the pro because I have a 3 way active in the front and a 2 way active in the back.

I'm not a exactly sure but the Pro can handle the 10 speakers, otherwise a lesser DSP would suffice.

Yes but the pro can handle 10 ch output. Meaning if u run 10 individual amps if u like. But from your setup u only have 2 amps, so it looks like your using your crossovers. Try goin active meaning don't use crossovers, you'll hear the difference and get a re tune.

Thanks for the advice! I'll ask my audio guy about it.
How is the FM quality on your cars in the US? The reception for my car in Singapore is poor, almost feels like it's not even stereo, non of my previous cars sounded this bad.

It's average. Xm a little better but 320kb is best. U can actually hear the quality if your running the helix with mosconi. What speakers are u running if u don't mind me asking

Hi Rozay604, I'm sorry for the late reply, I just got back from a holiday.

Apparently, and I didn't know it until yesterday, I'm running an active setup with Focal Utopia 165 W-RC with a Dominations Bud 2F full range speaker in the centre channel. There's a Pioneer active sub under the glove compartment and a set of Focal PS165F in the back. A pair of Mosconi D2 150.2 and 100.4 amps and the Helix DSP Pro round up the system.

Initially I put the PS165F in the front but I found the sound a bit underwhelming. After installing the Utopia in front and pushing the PS165 to the rear, the sound is so much fuller. It cost a pretty penny but I'm very happy with the sound now!

hows the "floor noise" of the car stereo as I am assuming the signals fed to the amplifiers are high level (speaker outputs) unless the factory NX Audio system has got low level outputs (RCA).
