Default NX 300h LED lights

I believe the NX 300h comes with LED lights.
As an option you can get the Premium Triple-Beam LED headlamps for an additional 1160.00 .

Does anyone know exactly what the difference is between these LED lights warranting the 1160.00 in extra cost ?

I can't help but wonder about all the additional LED features you get for 1160.00 . It seems like an awful lot of money for headlights !

I wonder if it's worth the extra cost?

^^^ See the differences and note the DRLs and turn signal too.

For me it would be worth it

I saw the LED headlights in person today and they are a must have. They were awesome.

I'm so glad to hear that because they're on the 300h I ordered last week. I knew they were on the car but knew nothing about them. The car also has the Pre-Collision option. It was either get these options with the Luxury package...or wait months for a car.

The dealers are getting confused on these. The LED DRL's are included but the 3-light LED headlights are an extra $1,160 even on the 300h's equipped with the luxury package. One sales rep tried to tell me that the luxury package LED headlights came as part of the luxury package price and looked like the L-style that comes on the RCFs but he could not find any documentation supporting that claim. As long as you have that individual $1,160 line item, you should be good!

I am 99% sure my data is correct here. In the two pictures above the TOP picture is an F-Sport with optional 3-LED Beam lights. The BOTTOM picture is a standard 200T with standard LED + Projector high beams. The DRLs are different on the two. Top F-Sport DRLs. Bottom is Standard 200T DRLs. I have an F-Sport with standard LED + Projector hi beams and I have the DRLs of the top picture. The F-Sport package includes "Premium LED Daytime Running Lights" on my window sticker.

Correct. In fact there are actually three lighting iterations as seen in the older post below, though if one gets the triple-L LED headlights, you automatically get the premium LED DRLs. You have the lighting combination of the NX in the second pic in this thread:

Like the top version with the triple beams and slimmer DRL's and the longer led turn signals directly above them but on an F-Sport that has different fogs and lower bumper. From the early stages and in concept form, the NX was DESIGNED to have these. Looks like Lexus might be going this route on future models and mid-cycle refreshes, at least as an option.

If you don't get the optional LED headlights, does it at least come with HID's? It's funny how LED headlights come standard on all new Corollas, yet is a $1000+ option here.

I believe the low beam is still LED. The high beam is halogen though.

I personally think the style upgrade on the NX and the RC are worth the cost of the LED headlights. The fronts of both vehicles look SO much better with the LEDs.

But, I have driven a 3IS with LEDs and I actually thought they put out less light than the HIDs on my GS. Not sure if these new 3 LED clusters are better.

If you don't get the triple LEDs, the base headlamp is still a round LED. The high beams are halogen though.
