The increase to 40k would put the NX inn the same range as the competition.

So is this what the F-Sport appearance package will look like? I know for the RX the appearance package is also partial mesh.

At this spot in saabkyle's video of a standard NX300h the front is different with no mesh at all:

difference between 2.0t and 300h, there will be no F-Sport appearance package like in RX.

I wish! Tired of not being able to get the complete F Sport look in hybrid models in the USA.

That's kind of a bummer. From an aesthetics standpoint I like the more aggressive look on the exterior, but I'd rather not be locked into all the aluminum interior trim and red seats.

I agree with you there as well. I would wish for an F sport interior that doesn't include red ... Like the RX for example. I don't think I'd mind being locked into aluminum trim (as it appears may be the case with the black interior anyhow). Not a big fan of the brown or ivory interiors ... Wish they'd do a light gray interior like generally seems to be available.

^Agree as well. I would like the F Sport model, but am not interested in aluminum trim and would prefer some wood option, preferably black.

Almost every RX my area is being delivered with the appearance package. It's looks way better than the standard RX

I had an ES300h as a loaner last week, and it has the same speedometer / tachometer layout. The left side stays as shown for Eco and Normal modes, then switches to a traditional tachometer in Sport. In general the car was much more capable than I was expecting, so I'll at least give the NX hybrid a whirl despite the sluggish 0-60 reported.

As far as the modes go, the Eco is so unresponsive it's almost dangerous for merging/emergencies while Sport seems to rev fast without a lot of real gain over Normal. I'd probably just leave it in Normal all the time. I can see why some hybrid owners become annoying hypermilers, the gauge really starts guilting you for being too aggressive.

Thanks CorradoMR2 for this video and the pictures.

I find the the pictures look much better than the video - as the pace of the video is a bit slow and it doesn't seem to match the vibrant nature of NX. The original one (from the Beijing launch) is more youthful and dramatic.

UPDATE: Watched the video again and it is not the pace of the video that I find it slow. It is the music I find it boring! Otherwise the video does look great and it shows more steady poses of NX.

The pictures are indeed really good and worth as wallpapers.
