I know these things are somewhat noisy but seems mine has gotten noisier over the years.
People comment, "your car sounds sick", and I think, "yes, yes it does."
Is this normal sounding? This is after being driven for a while. It was warmed up.

 

Can you describe:
- What does it sound like when you first start it up (i.e. cold, after sitting overnight). In comparison to the sound you recorded?
- How does the sound change if you have someone increase the revs (while parked, as you did in your video). Does it get louder, or change in any way?

One thing you can do. They sell these automotive stethescopes (I have one) that you put in your ear and touch the end in several places in the engine compartment. At least that might help you narrow down the area of the engine where the sound is coming from (i.e. turbo unit, fan, a/c compressor).
