When I turn the steering wheel, I hear a squeaking noise like sticky rubber, and even while driving, when I turn the steering wheel slightly, there is a muffled noise and the steering feels sticky - the movement is not smooth. I checked the steering column and it is fine. Could the problem be in the power steering motor? Has anyone experienced something similar? By the way, I have already lubricated the steering column shaft behind the airbag, down near the pedals, and in the firewall, but that did not solve the problem.
