Default Brake Job

I’m planning on do some underneath work on the vehicle this weekend. All four rotors and rear shocks. With the normal break in stuff you need to do to bead the rotors and the pads. Would you do the rrears first and then bead in the pads, and rotors. Then do the fronts next amd then bead them in second? I”ve done all four rotors for a friends ford fiesta, and we just bead the brakes in all at once. But I wasn’t sure if it’s something I should have done or going to do on this car. ? Since the shocks in the rear are a tiny chore I figured it might be better to do once section and a time. Thoughts?

And don't forget to turn off the electronic parking brake (EPB) before working on the rear brakes. This prevents damage to the EPB system and allows you to work with the brake calipers more easily. After installing the new brake pads, you'll need to re-engage the EPB using the proper procedure.

i already know how to do the brake job, I’ve done my 2018 RX350L a couple times already. I was just wondering since I’m doing front and back if it would better to split the job instead of doing all at once.

Sorry, I thought maybe the video(s) would answer your question or offer suggestions on it.

But I didn't watch the whole video so apologize for wasting your time.

I’ve never heard of beading the brakes. Do you mean bedding?

Why replace rotors, unless they are worn or damaged. I use only genuine Toyota/Lexus parts. Old Toyota/Lexus (unless past their service life) are better than most aftermarket rotors.
The same applies to brake pads. If buying Toyota/Lexus, make sure these are genuine parts (OEM, same as factory fit) and not Toyota/Lexus economy parts (part numbers have YZZ included in the number).
Toyota/Lexus might be made by Akebono or some other companhoae pads, but if buying say Akebono, the pads might not be to Toyota specification.
Rotors can be skimmed, if not worn beyond a certain thickness. I would prefer Skimmed (correctly) original rotors to most aftermarket rotors.
I replaced front and rear pads recently. Did not replace rotors. Did break in with front and rear pads at same time. Found no reference to bedding in on website, nor Lexus repair manual, but I have always bedded in and thought there will be no harm in doing so.
Important to press pedal before moving car (to get pads close to rotors), else might not have enough braking effort and car might roll.
Rear pads are tricky....colour coded and need to be located correctly, because the chamfering on them is not at the same angle for inner and outer pads.
Suggest Car Care Nut YouTube videos, helpful but not covering everything.
When replacing pads I replaced brake fluid.

Default Bit the bullet

Well, did both front and back at the same time. Also replaced the rear shocks with the Bilstein. Went with R1 concepts black rotors, slotted only in the front and cross drilled and slotted in the rear. I’ve used R1 on my Lexus 330, and on my Scion XB. Great products, Never had any issues and have seen moderately better braking performance on both other vehicles. Bled the system today and cleared the old fluid.

Brakes need about 300 miles of mellow ish driving to get fully broken in. But followed the full brake bedding process, from R1’s website on Saturday night after the install.

For a my 2016 AWD f-sport I know neither the front nor the rear shocks are electronically connected. First impression of the Bilstein, is much improved body roll control, very smooth on hard bumps. It will be interesting to see how it feels on the freeway tomorrow morning. I rarely use the freeway with my normal everyday commute.
