Default Low volume for read out messages - Android Auto

Hi, I hope this is the correct place in the forum for this message.
If not, Im very sorry.

The question I have... I have a 2018 NX300h with the infotainment system upgraded to support Android Auto.
It works perfectly, however one small problem. When a text message is received for example the read out function reads it out in very low volume. Is this possible to change? If I listen to music and have that audio turned up high.
The message is still extremely low. If I turn the volume up so that I can hear the message being read out, the music is at completely unbearable loud volume.

Any ideas?
Thanks
/Niklas

Assuming you changed your infotainment system to an Android Operating System.
Reading text message uses the navigation speaker which is the front middle speaker. You can try while reading text message turn up the volume.
If not try to play around in Android system sound settings.

Hi. Unfortunately, the upgrade was done before I got my hands on the car so Im not sure what kind of upgrade / change was done.
The infotainment system looks identical to earlier models I've seen. Until you connect the phone using the USB connector in the mid console then you can select android auto using the menu in the infotainment system (if that changes anything).

My feeling is that the sound is coming from the "regular" sound system and just pauses the other sounds / music playing. But just plays it at a very very low volume.

I see maybe it's one of those older modular hardwired in the back of your glove box to enable AA and CP.

This should be able to fix your issue.

Thank you for this! I moght have found a solution just an hour ago. I found in the "regular " lexus settings the "voice" volume was set to 1... i raised that to max... and it felt a lot louder when I had it read out a text message, I will put it to the test tomorrow on my commute to work. If it didn't help Ill try this!.
thank you so much
