Hi guys, I just scratched my steering wheel with my silver bracelet while I was driving, is there a method how to get rid of it? I see many steering wheel repair kits but not sure if they will help me with that. Any recommendations / your experiences? Thank you.

 

The steering wheel cover is Leather. Purchase some black shoe polish, used for leather shoes such as Kwik Brand, and rub it in gently with a soft cloth. Repeat several times. It will take several applications for the polish to fill in the scratch. After you are happy with the result, use a clean cloth, slightly moistened with water to rub away an excess shoe polish. You may want to repeat an second time and polish a larger area in order to get a better match with the undamaged area. After polishing is done, apply a leather conditioner, like Mcguires, over the entire steering wheel. This will help protect the leather for sun bleaching.

mine was about $20 and I took off the steering wheel and sewed the wheel on my bed at home took a few hours cause the upholstery shops was charging me from 350-500 from different shops. (YouTube how to remove the wheel and disconnect the battery and make a mark on the wheel for better install to make the wheel straight when install back in the car)
so $20 plus a few hours of time all the supplies was included in the kit came it about a week and in half
