I have a 2017 Lexus NX200T and would like to add CarPlay, however I don't want to go through the cost or hassle of replacing the existing screen. I see there are a lot of options on Amazon that plug in or use Bluetooth and then mount somewhere on the dash. Has anyone gone this route and have any recommendations for a good performer or ones to avoid? Thanks.

 

BeatSonic is a pretty good choice. While I haven't use the NX specific CarPlay application, I have used a number of their products with great results.

 

I use the cheaper Carlinkit PnP kit that I got off eBay, it works with the OEM system but has its quirks. Beatsonic and GROM VLINE have had some better reviews.

 

Grom Audio has a good kit. I have theirs on my RX.
