Did you know ALL TURBO ENGINE required "TOP TIER GAS" and FULL Synthetic Engine oil" ? Don't be stupid like " BMW Drivers".
For Toyota Lexus 2.0 Turbo with ROUGH and SHAKE engine startup is totally NORMAL ! you also noticed the RPM meter in most Lexus jumps up and down but not much....that's normal too.
I was afraid like you when I switched from Toyota to Lexus back in 2013, My TRD Toyota Solara had a supercharger back in 1999, it had rough idle too.
Don't worry too much when you drive a Toyota Lexus, just put TOP GAS in the tank and change your oil/fluid and drive, trust me I'm 30 years driven Toyota Lexus here.

NX engine vibration at cold start is not pleasant but not detrimental. This is due to AC taking too much power from relatively small engine. Especially at idle when turbo is not contributing (rpm too low for turbo to kick in). Turn off AC and the engine will run smoothly.

Ya I said 4cyl Turbo Engine, not the Turbo Kickin when driving, The Lexus V6 N/A Engine is smooth like the 1996 Toyota Camry, he mentioned Rough Idle bro The NX is driving smooth even AC ON.
The 2017 Rav4 non-turbo engine start-up smooth in Hot/Cold weather.

No offence pal, but think you did not read my replay correctly. I stated that at idle NX engine does not have turbo as rpm not high enough. Also, RAF4 engine is bigger vs NX (2.5L vs 2.0L w/NX) and RAF4 AC is not as demanding as the one in NX. Overall, smaller NX engine and more powerful AC is why engine shakes on idle only, and not while driving when turbo kicks in.

I think older cars run better than new funny reality is if I compare NX 2019 to my old dodge caliber 2011 2.0 non turbo not shaking runs better les noise but this if I compare engine.

Rav4 has 2.5L and the CRH has 2.0L none of them are shaking ! the BMW x1 I had it's turbo inline6 N55 engine M-sport is shaking at idle too so does my friend's Hyundai Elantra 2022 turbocharged 1.6-liter GDI four-cylinder.
I have the 2017 rav4 in my house I bought it brand new for my sister back in 2017 at Kensaw Toyota, I picked up the car drove it out at 0km myself, and handed it to my sister after 1000km break-in it's smooth as a brand new when I bought it. Also tested the CRH 2018 and it's smooth like Rav4.
As a small Turbo Engine like Elantra and NX it will kick in after 3000RPM, people think it kicks in after 1500-2500RPM, I'm not saying because of turbo kick in or not that makes the car shake at idle, I'm talking about "Turbo Engine vs Natural Aspirate Engine N/A." The Toyota CR-H is 2.0L N/A non-turbo and they are not shaking at idle.

Do you understand how Turbo Engines are built? most cars will shake a bit when at idle. This can be caused by the alignment and orientation of the engine and its components to the car’s chassis and body and manufacturing tolerances among those components themselves, such as bearings. Usually, this shaking is not noticeable, but it is essential to know that the car is designed this way.
Reason rough idle for some cars !
1.
Loose Gas Cap.
2. Worn Throttle Position Sensor.
3. Bad or Faulty Idle Air Control Valve.
4. Faulty Fuel Pressure Regulator/Ignition Control Module (This one may cause in the Lexus NX)
5. Oxygen Sensor.
6. Dirty Throttle Body or Sensor.
7. Loose Battery Cables.
8. Camshaft Timing Chain.
I just fixed my BMW N55 inline6 Engine ROD-BEARINGS and Camshafts, German engineers are the B i-tch with their technology, Very Headache with Turbo Engine. Like I said, some cars like Lexus NX designed this way with their Turbo Engine cars, I have video when I was taking off BMW inline6 N55 Engine into pieces you wanna see ? Lexus Turbo is so new lol

Exactly bro, you seem to understand..... Lexus NX2023+ got rid of the 2.0L Turbo engine, and now Lexus Engineer is stealing Toyota Engineer's 2.5L Toyota Rav4 Engine and putting on the 2023 Lexus NX, they also Turbo it and call it NX350 with 275HP 2.4L Turbo, Toyota Lexus 2.4L or 2.5L engines are the same **** hahaha you'll see it when you dismantle the whole engine, Toyota Engine is a lot more reliable than BMW Engine.
The 2023 NX has four powertrain options. The base NX250 model comes with a 203-hp 2.5-liter four-cylinder while the NX350 is powered by a 275-hp turbocharged 2.4-liter; both come with an eight-speed automatic, but while the NX250 can be had with either front- or all-wheel drive, the NX350 has all-wheel drive standard. Two different hybrid options are on the menu, starting with the NX350h, which pairs two electric motors with the 2.5-liter four-cylinder for 239 horsepower. The more exciting option is the NX450h+, which borrows its 302-hp plug-in hybrid powertrain from the RAV4 Prime.

True is non turbo engine runs better and have long lifespans and also less maintenance my case Dirty Throttle Body and now to clean this is not easy because is between cabin and acces is only from the bottom that’s mean you have two option disconnect transfer case or exhaust second option is easy but you need buy extra gaskets for exhaust. Personally I never buy car with turbo and AWD too much maintenance and to sensitive I’m not picky but I drove a lot to work and all maintenance do by my self.

Same here, I personally do not like Turbo-Engine because it's a Toyota so I'm not that worried 'cause it's not German, German cars like BMW has great handling and firmed ride but their Engine is a piece of junk, I think China build better engine than German, 4cyl N20,N47,N46 has timing chain common issues, the 6cyl+ N54,N55,B58,S54,S65,S85 has Camshaft and Rod Bearings common issue, both has engine oil leak like hell, while Mercedes has Transmission problems and Audi oil burn like American drinks beer hahaha
