2019 NX Lexus Dynamic Map Navigation
My wife and I looked at at 2019 NX300h today at a local Acura Dealer. Overall, we are quite impressed with the vehicle and are considering its purchase. We have a couple of questions:
1)The vehicle has Lexus Dynamic Map Navigation. The dealer tries to tell me its a cloud based Navigation system. The maps appear to tell me an update is available. When I clicked update it told me to contact the dealer. Is the Map and Dealer Service update only?
2) When I plugged my Android Phone into the Glovebox USB ports, nothing happened. Would it be reasonable to conclude this vehicle does not have Android Auto. It there an upgrade for AA at the Dealer? Did I plug the phone into the wrong port?
3) The vehicle is a 2019 with 27,000 miles on the odometer, would it have any bumper-to-bumper warranty coverage? It was sold as a CPO to the last owner a year ago who traded it in.

2. 2019 NX should have AA already installed. As I recall, it has been introduced in late 2018.
3. NX carries 4 year/50K miles warranty. Depending on this vehicle purchase date, it may still have original warranty. Also, check is CPO warranty is transferrable to second owner.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but as for Android Auto, I believe it's only available on NX models after 2020. CarPlay is available for models after 2018. For whatever reason, there isn't 100% overlap between vehicles compatible with both.
You could be correct. I have 2017 so have neither, thus not sure if my statement was accurate.
