Did you double-pump the brake pedal after it sunk to floor? Or, did you just hold it there waiting for baking to suddenly grab? My instinct is to press the pedal again. Others may be to push the pedal harder. Also, I’m pretty sure you could have applied the parking/emergency brakes manually by pressing the button.

Yes to more than just double pumping. Did not push parking break. Lexus owns our car and I’m never buying one again.
If my family/friends are in the car, you bet I’m going to apply the parking brakes. I changed the rear brakes on my sister’s NX yesterday and applied the parking brakes in neutral as the car rolled down my driveway, to see that they would engage. They did. I didn’t try it in drive but I am pretty sure they will engage. Will try it one day in our RX, when I pry the keys from my wife’s hands.
I have Nx hybrid - at times I hear a noise coming from the fire wall area that sounds like a,soda stream. The car still stops though. It started after about 12 months from purchasing and dealership bleed the brakes. It was alright for about 2months and now is randomly back again. Took it in, they said the noise happens in most hybrids because if the pump back filling pressure to operate the brakes. Didn't tell me that the first time so I am a bit skeptical.
Anyone else have this issue
