Default GI: Dyno Meet

Hey Guys! I've had many requests for different types of meets. It's great that we have such a friendly communtity of members. I have an opportunity to rent my friends shop for an entire day. He is offering us all his services... Including the use of their Dyno!

Dyno services include:

HP / Torque Graphing
Wideband O2 readings
Injector Pulse readings
Air intake temperature
Vacuum/Boost VS RPM readings
Top speed

Dyno Specifications!

They're closed on Sundays so we have to schedule a Saturday meet. The shop is located in College Point. Please chime in to suggest a date.

Aug 27th is good for me. But we're gonna need at least 10 cars to offset the cost. If we can't get enough cars maybe we an invite guys from the Supra Forums??? I'd prefer only Lexus Guys come. Gazi please chime in.

8/27 actually looks good for me. Although I'm scared to actually dyno my stock stock stock auto SC300. The low numbers might make me impulsively do something... like spend money...

Well.... It's going to be the entire day. He's charging me about $700. So if 10 guys just want Baseline runs, we can do 3 runs a car and it's less than $25 per pull with Wideband O2 readings graphed and printed. Obviously, Baseline pulls can tell you alot about your engine performance. Other wise tuning, such as boost vs A/F and timing adjustments will take more time. I'd really wanna schedule all the guys that want a baseline (Newbies/Basic Bolt ons) first. And hard core tuning later on.

Well, you know I'm in!!!

T0ked, don't be afraid. If i'm gonna put my stock '92 SC400 on there, you can do the stock 300. At least you have the potential for BIG numbers.

I'll run my almost bone stock auto SC3 too, if I can find time that weekend. It's up the air at this point, but I'd love to go!

How does this dynyo compare to the Mustang Dyno and Dynojet??
I know the Dynojet "reads" more HP over the Mustang dyno.....
just curious

I need to dyno, Was going to do it with the supra guys when they have an OBI meet
(they usually go to Ray P's shop, it's like $45 for 3 pulls

I have the EXACT mods as you do. I wouldnt expect much gain/loss at all.
