Default Are you a target?

I'm just wondering if it's me, but my car, completely stock, must look like easy prey.
granted, i think Lexus' alarm systems are fairly lame, but i'd like to know if any others
have had a lot of hits. i've had 3 attempts in less than a year to break in and steal mine.

what are your opinions of alarm systems? i've definitely got to get a new one before i
even think about doing any mods.
thanks in advance. PEACE.

Talking

Or you can wire your dessert eagle to the door handle =), best ting to do honestly is get a fuel cut off switch and put truck horns hidden inside the cabin so when the alarm goes off so do the robbers ear drums.

Thanks for the responses folks.

aliga - don't worry about that one. insurance is a major factor in owning these types of cars. it's
been addressed.

2001HiTechGs - sorry to hear. did it happen during the day or night? pretty dang bold to just
flat-out pop a window. you must have been in the most remote place on earth or those boys just
had it out for your ride.
does the viper come with any type of guarantee? the alarm has to be worth the cost if i'm going to get it. guess it's time to start surfing the net for alarms again.
as for the garage, my wife's Camry sits there. i think i have a better chance with the Lexus than the
Camry. but a guy is coming over tomorrow to give an estimate on an additional garage.

DaizenLex - don't think the thought hasn't crossed my mind.

I have a compustar with pager....a mile and a 1/4 range and remote start. But you will never be able to stop people from stealing. I just want to be there and bash some heads.

thanks, folks. the thinking here is that there are a couple of rookies out there looking for a joy
ride - these aren't pro's. i had a $800 GPS sitting on the dash in full view and they only took my magazine
of cd's and ~$15 from the center console. they probably didn't even know it was a GPS.
i'm holding off on the garage for a while, but the viper is being installed tuesday. if i notice another
attempt i'll go for the garage then.
sway's arrive next week - LET THE MODDIN' BEGIN!!

PEACE.

isn't there a sensitivity setting on those?

i hear ya' when you say it's worth it though. i can actually sleep at night now and i'm not worried in
the morning when i wake up. i used to dread looking out the window for fear my baby was gone.
wish i could just cold-slap those chumps and tell them to get a job and earn it the same way i did.
