Joe Z Exhaust and Passing Texas Inspections
I have read alot about the Joe Z exhausts and cat backs in general and searched the forum but haven't really found an straight forward answer to my questions. So apologies if this is already up somewhere.
I'm about to purchase the Joe Z PTS exhaust for the ISF and was primarily concerned about passing Texas state inspections/emmissions. From what I have read you still pass because the primary cats are still in. Does anyone here have the exhaust and have passed both the emissions and visual test?
Also does installing high flow cats to replace the secondary cats have any benefits/drawbacks? Performance wise and from a legal standpoint?
Thanks,
Mike

Has Sewell given you any problems with your warranty for all the mods? Thats where I bought my F.
Good to see another F in Dallas! I don't see too many.

Sewell has never given me problems! In fact, they love when I bring the car in for service because they like to hear the exhaust!

I had my Joe-Z installed at JP Importz a couple of years ago, but I don't think I would go there if I had to do it again. I would try Cains Autohaus in downtown Plano. The owner Daniel is really a stand-up guy, extremely trustworthy. He does really good work!!
