Hello all,
My name is Brett and I just purchased a 2003 gs300. I have turned wrenches for 10 years and was an Audi tech and now am a vw tech. Never been a euro guy but I do not mind working on them. I work in pasadena, md if anyone needs help with headlight aiming, alignments and such. I was glad to find there is a dedicated area to md va and such and look forward to coming to some meets. I had some fcs and did a baby build on a talon but am close to 30 with kids so after maintenance going to to put the care on coils and some staggered 18s and call it a day. Well sorry for the rant but it's nice to meet enthusiasts in my area, cheers

Welcome to the NELOC family Brett! Like Teo said, be sure to post pics of the ride and hopefully we'll meet you soon enough at one of this season's events.

 

Here are some pics, i semi detailed it and buffed the headlights. i have lower ball joints and front pads and rotors sitting at work just have not had time to throw them on. I also am going to fully wet sand the headlights, they turned out ok on the buff but not good enough for me. Found my lower rear control arms on the rear knuckle have a bushing that is going bad and is quite hard to find so i am talking to figs and he said hes making a set and gonna let me try them. Here are a couple of pics. My pops had a 2000 e320 with 260k on it he kept having me work on and he was in desperate need of a new car but didnt want to get one so we had a sc430 trade at work 2003 with only 50K!!! I helped him get.

Update, coils on the way. Wheels are back order so looks like I'm going to be waiting a while. Will post pics after coils
