Inspection in Jersey

Recently I just installed window tints on my car
I know that in NJ, it's illegal to have tints in the front side windows
but I still did it (35% all around)

recently i know that NJ changed the inspection law and made it only inspects emissions and no longer inspect safety
so I was wondering if anyone in NJ had gone and passed inspection with their window tints on?

They will still be inspecting ALL safety standard issues at your inspection. Not just your exhaust. Windows, tints, your mileage, all that.

I dunno I brought my POS ford to state inspection. Hood all bent up bald tires blown airbags with hole in steering wheel and dash basically a complete wreck. But its a 2001 so as long as it passes obd2 test then its good to go : )
