dings, scratches and dents!

Even though i park my car in a garage I still have battle scars from traveling on the road. The other day a lady rubbed my passenger,rear passenger door with her bumper trying to get into the Lincoln tunnel. (i almost when to jail that night). I live in the nyc area and was wondering if someone knew of a good body expert to deal with some of my exterior imperfections. I want someone that is GOOD! I know good work has its price and i am willing to pay a little extra for excellent work. Also I also have some minor imperfections to the interior of the car such as a scratch in the seat (outside did not break the leather) and some nicks/scratches to the glove box door that is driving me crazy. I guess i can replace the parts but i just wanted to know if anyone had any alternative ways to fix these issues.

Call local Toyota used car dealers and ask them what day the interior repair guy comes on the lot. All used car lots of any Brand have a guy that visits the lot once a week that is a interior specialist. He can fix tears and scratches in interiors (plastics and leather) inexpensively and makes them virtually invisible. You can also ask when the ding and paint scratch guy visits also and have them work on your outside. I recommend calling Toyota becuse colors and materials as basically the same, they work cheaper than at Lexus.

Or ask the dealer who they use and call them directly. The same guy (actually goes by the name Picasso!) who touches up cars for the local Lexus dealer bought his mobile paint shop to my house and touched up our cars in our driveway. It's been several years and his work has held up well.

They have Lexus-trained/certified paint techs, do work for Lexus dealers, and do interior repair. They did a great job on my car (exterior).

That was the place that had a rep at DiFeo Lexus on Rte 22 in Bridgewater every Thursday a few years back. That's how I got to use them, and I was impressed by the job they did. That dealer now uses a place in Bristol, PA (also very good, but I forget the name). They take your car on a flatbed to Bristol and bring it back when done.

DiFeo (now Lexus of Bridgewater) switched to Rob's Automotive and Collision out of Levittown/Bristol, PA, (215) 826-9200. Like ayonnebay said, they'll flat bed your car from the dealership or another place if you want. Very nice guys and good work, not expensive either.
