batteries in NYC area?
anyone know where i can get a good sound system battery? i'm gonna be running an orion H2 2500rms system and figured i should run a seperate battery for the system alone. i'm looking to spend under 100. thanks guys.

I ran a Duralast Gold from Autozone before I switched out to an Optima yellow top. Battery seemed to be pretty good, replaced mine after it took a hard fall from a work bench while being re-charged and cracked the casing open (dead alternator killed it). IIRC, battery runs around $80, but can catch them on sale pretty frequently.

Either that or get hold of Curry and see if he world be willing to do a battery relocate like he did in his last Camry for ya. Have one up fromt as well as 1 in the trunk area. Trying to see if I can locate some pics of his Camry setup.
if you are looking to run a separate battery you should look into a specific one made for audio, they discharge and recharge quicker since they are not required to start the car. Some brands to consider would be Kinitek, batcap and several others. But you would also need to figure out how to charge the battery.

I still use an interstate battery. I paid 95.00... had it for 2 years..never an issue. BUT both batterys (primary and secondary) should be equal in age and size. and def use an isolator. I used a PAC brand.
