How much does this cost or is it worth the fight? "Muffler modified for noise"

If I get a receipt for the removal of the exhaust and install of the new exhaust, could I get it dropped?

This is in nassau county.

correct. I will say I bought it from a dealer and didn't know it was illegal and give a receipt for the removal of it. LOL after court I'm getting a custom midpipe added

 

thats what my friend does when he gets an exhaust ticket and hes gotten ohh idk 3-4 within the the year lol thats what u get when u have hollowed out cats and no res wit a big hks muffler on a wrx lol , gets a receipt that says it was taken off and they just throw the ticket out, end of story

 

is it payable to 16 cooper st? i use a lawyer now for my multiple tickets...

NY has got some DUMB exhaust laws...

down here, there are countless boosted cars running open downpipes and they don't get harassed by the cops at all. it's only when they catch you doing something.

 

such as those SRT-4's with straight pipes? lol i have a neighbor with an orange one. god . . . he's lucky he's got the very first house in our gated community lol
