Hello All,

The title of this thread has been question that comes up time and time again from all those who inquire into becoming a NELOC member. To hopefully avoid future questions regarding membership, all who are interested can be directed to this thread.

Becoming a member is VERY simple. And no there are NO membership dues.

Step 1.

Start a thread to introduce yourself. Be sure to include some basic information such as but not limited to your name, where you are from, what kind of Lexus you own, and of course pictures.

Step 2.

All prospective members must attend a minimum of three (3) NELOC functions. This includes official meets, impromptu meets, get togethers, happy hours, or just hanging out. If you have already attended three (3) NELOC meets and would like to join, please have an established NELOC member(s) vouch for your attendance at the those meets.

We would like to emphasize that we are looking for ACTIVE members to come out and participate, and not those who are more interested in a sticker for their car. NELOC is a family atmosphere that is all about actually coming out and having a good time in support of the club and it’s members. We would like to maintain and increase that family feeling as new members join.

Step 3.

Once you have attended your three NELOC functions you are at that point an official member. You will then receive your NELOC decals (2) from a member located in your respective area/state.

I haven't "truly" introduced myself in here but have posted comments here many times before. I think most of the folks here in NELOC have seen my name and probably pics of my car before as well so I'm not sure if I should bother to create a new thread to introduce myself. What do you think?
I have one meet that is the NELOC BBQ on 6/28 that I'll be attending and hope to have two more attended to by at least summer's end.

How many events have you already had?

 

We've had several through out NELOC this year already. You have been to one (the install meet). Two to go.

 

actually kino went to Install meet + UMD College Park.

Chick does count as you and a few others our NELOC members. Since you organize those meets on ISF it counts as an ISF/NELOC meet. You're also right about UMD as we did organize our showing there. Congrats Kino
