Welcome to NELOC and ummm stay away from the crazy folks here (ie.Apex84...) and you'll be good

Leroy use to ride the short bus so excuse him he's In Slow mode...

the button has been nonfunctioning as long as ive had the car. the only thing i found wrong with it...

When you checked the wiring when you removed the button, did you test the wires for a short?

no i didnt. just looked to see that they were plugged an all, it looked fine. like i said the snow button is ok so i was assuming its not the wireing behind there... hmm so

I have to agree with leroy use a meter to see if your getting current at the switch and work from there.
