New to The Game
hey guys. I just got my IS a few months ago and am just starting to get involved with NELOC and mod-ing my ride.
It a 2003 IS300 5-speed w/ lsd
its riding on 17'' ASA's wrapped in Toyo Proxy4's
I have a k&n intake intalled and thats about it for now.
currently im waiting on a apex'i n1 catback and hopefully toyomoto headers and y-pipe to strap on with it. and a tint all around when i get to it.
also im looking to drop it down some with h&r springs w/ koni yellow shox. i thihk its like a 2'' drop. that sounds a little lower than i want but am not sure how it will sit or what else would be comprable? what kind of drop do you guys have on you car? what is suggested? thinking maybe go with eibach prokit or swifts. theres also that roadmagnet co. out of baltimore, not too sure what to do yet...
Im in school right now on the MD eastern shore and I plan on making a ride over to NoVA in a few weeks for the meet and to try an get some of these parts installed, keeping a few extra bucks in my pocket for more goodies.
look forward getting involved and seeing what everyone else is driving.
cheers,
Brian

Welcome to NELOC.
My wife drives an IS300,, initially dropped it on Road Magnet springs, real good quality. She has since upgraded to Tein CS coilovers.
I drive a GS400, almost stock.
Check out the Neloc thread we have an install meet coming up and problably some other meets before our big event in Carlisle, PA. If you don't know about it click on the link in my Sig.
Hope to see you around.

Welcome to NELOC Brian. As Rare1 said my IS was initially dropped on Road Magnets, loved the drop. 1.75 drop all around. Hope to see you out at some meets, in the meantime don't be a stranger on the forums!
