i'd help you out. but i'm all the way here in NY. all you really need is a combo wrench and maybe a oil filter wrench, you can use your hand if you really get a good grip on it. you can jack the car up to get the leverage to slide underneath the car if necessary.

14mm socket for the bolt on the oil pan and the filter you should be able to remove it with your hand.

Hmmm. I don't really have a jack anyway =/ And plus, even if I did, I wouldn't use that to change my oil if my life depended on it haha. I might get squashed :P

It's extremely easy. I'm sure you may have a neighbor or relative that can help you.

Rob - I don't need a regular jack. I need one of those ramp things. I'm too chicken to go under the car while it's sitting on just one jack haha.

Is there anyone in NJ that's willing to lend me their ramps?

use some jackstands if your afraid the jack'll come down on you. i've done o2 sensor changes in windy weather with just a jack and a pair of stands. everytime the car creaks i almost pissed my pants.

If you are that nervous,, a set of ramps from PEP Boys is no more than $40.

I am trying to change my oil too, I bought my oil and filter already too.
right now I am looking at the shop on 503,which i think is very close to target.
It says 10 minute oil change which from what I saw doesn't use lifts but instead someone will be doing all the stuff in the hole below the car﹐ which is perfect for lowered cars.

I became very wary of those types of shops a few years ago when they "forgot" to put the oil plug back in on a friend of mines car, Made it as far as the driveway b4 the engine seized.

i have ramps too skankerpants.

and jack stands :P

i did my 02 sensors the same way and i was under there for 30 min or so. besides, whats the worst that could happen? you get squished, sure, but if someone took a picture with your legs stickin out from under the car, i could see countless funny captions for something like that

so again, lemme know
