So i got to work on my intake manifold today. Heres my progress. Six holes were cut and gasket matched, and manifold is fitted up. Still has a lot of work but its coming along.
i shoulda gone to school for this kind of thing...
dammit man, i hate academics.
lookin sweet!
Thanks a lot. I went down the path of academics myself, but at the end of the day this is the only thing i really love. So i went back to school and i love it even more now that i know what im doing. Its never to late!!!
Progress is a little slow but i guess some progress is better then no progress. start beveling the edges of each hole and made the back plate of the pelnum. Still have some work to do on the holes, but I think its turning out pretty good. now just trap some holes and make a flange for the IAC valve.
All i can say is, its addicting. I'm going to hate going back to work and not being able to work on my car all day. But i was fun while it lasted. In a perfect world!!

LOLZ. I wish I could work on mine all day. Congrats on your upcoming graduation.
Wow I wish I had a workshop! great job. How did you bevel the circles on the inside edge of the plenum?
Die grinder and a hole lot of patience and trust me i'm going to miss having everything you need at your disposal. Now i just need to get the car back from the painter.
