Paintball challenge
Hey,
Is there any interest in getting a group together to go out to Skirmish (Jim Thorpe, PA) in early December for a day of paintballing?
My early thought is that we can get up a group of 20 or so and challenge the TriState VIP guys. I haven't mentioned it to them yet but they seem to be the type to respond nicely to a challenge.
Skirmish is a little over an hour away from NYC and depending on the number of people we get the entire day will be less than $80 (which would include goggles, gun rental, 750 rounds of paints - typical player shoots around 700 rounds). We would get our own private fields and everything you need would be available.
You can go to www.skirmish.com for more details. But I go all the time and the fields are absolutely sick.
Here's an old picture of a group that I usually go with:
You can bring your own gun if you have one (doesn't reduce your admission price) and as you can see from the picture, ladies are more than welcome.
YES, it does sting but if you layer up, you barely feel it. Guns are regulated to no more than 280 psi.

I'm interested but not a definite. I'll let you guys know as the time grows nearer.
By the way, a friend of mine works at Skirmish as a referee. I'll ask him if he can hook us up with prices or anything. Can't promise anything but I'll ask him.

Which date is it going to be so I can find out if I can make it. If I go my bro and possibly some friends will come out as we used to paintball all the time but havent done it in years.
