Question What do I do?

Ok, I can get my hands on Tein SS for $400 dollars. I want that BMW feel and here the PSS set-up works wonders. I plan on getting 18's or 19's by the summer. Should I settle for the SS's or wait & save for the PSS or something else. What's a guy to do???
Tell me your or Thanks.

Lex chip I have had the SS for a year and a half and I'm completely satisfied with it. If you want, you can meet up with me and take my car for a ride and see what you think. I'm running on 19" staggered setup (245/35/19 - front,275/30/19 - rear). Just hit me via PM if your interested... If you can try to do this before the weekend ...because my car goes under the knife again on saturday because I'm trying to finish up putting goodies in the engine bay that i started this week

i personally wouldn't want to buy a used suspension system anymore. but 400 does seem like a price that's hard to say no to especially for coilovers. I would go for them. The ride height is adjustable to accomadate your rim setup or whatever you decide to get later on. i don't see any down falls.

The only question you need to ask is 'how used' are the coilovers so you'll know if you'll need to have them rebuilt or not. Like Bat and Soup said, there are no issues with SS and that's a great price.

You want a BMW type ride, then go with a BMW suspension.. Bilstein is the OE suspension for BMW, Porshe, Mercedes Benz, & even Ferarri. Made in Germany, and it has a lifetime warranty Love them But heck, 400 bucks for coilovers is indeed a bargain if their is useable life left in them.

haha IF you drove my IS300 with the TEIN HA's you'd never utter those BMW antics ever again.

Those are great points. I'm buying them from a performance store so I'll ask if they were rebuilt and stuff. Here is my next question. I heard they are really ruff is that only if I drop them all the way or at any height?

At low drops any suspension will be stiff, because you are NOT utilizing the dampening feature of full shock travel. I have my setup at stock height for winter and it feels better than stock. when I dump the car for summer its a little bumpier.

It also depends on your set up... when i had fat tires set up the ride was softer...
