Since we've been having a really warm winter, does anyone know if the NJ race tracks/drag strips are still open?

If so, anyone want to go nexst week?

Wow. lol, Stan is real late. Track meets were back in 2004 on the old North East Forum. Tony is right about the many tracks being closed.

 

Sean i hate to tell you this but my boy's 418rwhp EVO MR destroyed a 6.0 6spd GTO from a dead stop and on a 30mph roll with me in the car Saturday..
and he had the GTO about 6-7 cars too!!

If you want to go a little further South to Atco Raceway in Jersey, they are open year round. Open nights are Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday. You can run on Saturday, but it'll take awhile. Just call ahead to make sure that they will still be running on those nights. As usual its weather permitting.

Negatives about the track. You must go through the wetbox.

 

Atco is what got me interested because they say they were open last weekend on their webpage. I'll give them a call this week to find out when their test and tune is. Thanks.

 

Modded Evo MR v. N/A LS2 GTO. Naturally, a modded Evo would beat a LS2 GTO. Now a LS2 GTO with mods from SLP or Lingenfelter bumping output, and say bye bye Evo MR

 

I dont think so Sean..... Modded Evo Mr that only has 400hp VS 6.0 spd 500+ hp even with a modded LS2... a 550hp evo will still kill it with 2 people in the car!!!!
