So how is everyone doing? I'm just sending a shout out to my NELOC peeps, wanted to see how everyone is doing, personally, and vehicularly too. (is that not a word? )

Me? I am well. Summetime is always busy for me. Friends in and out of town, and then I'm in and out of town....and then I gotta work, and then I have to hang with my adorable neice, and then I gotta dogsit for my sis when she goes out of town, and then I gotta visit all of my 5 godchildren (4 of them with summer birthdays), and my sister is getting married in November (I'm in the wedding) and then I gotta go to Myrtle Beach to check on my failing real estate investments , and then I gotta holla at this fine big-butt shorty who just bought a Cayman because well, I just have to...we're having lunch tomorrow ...and then I gotta hang with my NELOC peeps!

All in all, life is good, but busy. Do we really HAVE to sleep?

Lexfest looks bleak for me, simply for financial reasons. I don't think I can afford NOT to work since I already have so many other things planned for the fall. I'm self-employed, so when I don't work, I don't get paid. Taking off a few days, plus hundreds of dollars in gas, and even more in hotel money, food, etc...it all starts to add up pretty quickly. I just don't think I can afford it. Plus, I gotta spend $1300 on tires in the next 3-4 weeks for sure.

By November, I'ma be broke as a joke. But I'll be a happy broke *****. LOL

I'm doing good Kev. Thanks for asking. I didnt know you have some investments in Myrtle Beach. Thats where I grew up.

I've been doing pretty good. Da ES is coming along nicely. . Wifey is doing well. And I start school this week. Thats right Smitty is going back to school. 4 classes and I'll be done and I'll have my BS. I'm looking forward to Harrisburg part 2 and seeing everyone. Hopefully alot of da NY crew will come out cuz I aint seen alot of yall since Lexfest 05 or da BBQ at Todd's. I always enjoy kickin it with da NY crew. Some classy guys.

Lookin forward to kickin it with the MD/DC/VA crew soon. VIPGarage I will see you Wen. for my little project.

 

All is well here Kev. We've been busy as can be, so haven't had much time for any fun. I'm expecting the next few months to be our busiest ever. Unfortunately, Lexfest is out for me and Sept 9th isn't looking to good either. As far as the car goes, just making my winter plans. I'll be sending my steering wheel and shift **** to be reset in wood, adding the F/R daizen sways, new brakes/rotors/lines, strut bar, and scheduling in the TC install for spring. Still not sure what we are doing with Kim's car. Probably keep the 17's on it and maybe a slight drop. This should keep her happy until the SC comes. I don't have many plans for the off season other than spending a weekend in NYC to give Soup a hand with the DVD. Smitty, what are you finishing your BS in? Godd luck with your classes. BTW, the last time I talked to trukn1 he was in Louisiana. We need a where's trukn1 map, like the where's waldo pictures. (LOL).

 

hey kev kev everything is goin pretty well for me right now..extremely busy at work this week tho i'm gonna try to get up to my house this weekend to check on the repairs. we had about $35k in water damage due to a pipe freezing and then bursting this past winter. it looked like an earthquake hit my house with the way all the wood floors buckled, i'll have to try to find a pic. but all of the repairs should be done this week and it should be looking better than it did when we bought the house last year. we actually wound up making a little bit of money out of the deal

the new exhaust is going in the IS this week. i'm putting in the tanabe medalion touring..and im also going to try to smoke out my tail lights this week if i have time da IS is gonna be lookin meeeaaaaan

i promise you can have a ride in both whips kev

the car is doing pretty good. Me on the other hand, I twisted my ankle. Its just a sprain and i am actually going back to work tomorrow.

Thanks Kev.... our site was getting boring.... my Cats were clogged...the sound was pressure going back into the engine... I think I am going to do a quick fix...Dyno... then do a custom exhaust, headers... it will be interesting to see what it does against my other SC buddies with the 1jz...they almost made me sell out ... but I have been talking to TRUKn1 and We must rep the 1juz! Kev, What's up? Wife is doing well, next week or 2 are the most important. Can come any minute. But work been busy, they have us on 12 hour shifts for next few weeks. So I will be pulling some major overtime, which 1/3 will got to the Lex and 2/3 to wife and baby. Thinking of going 20" next spring, but for now I will dropping the iForged off at Mobile Wheel Refinishers in Annapolis to get them repolished and sealed. Really thinking have them chromed. Car goes in the shop tomorrow for some weird noise from the wheel well. Other than that, doing good. Keep in touch.

Yes I do like to keep in touch with my NELOC peeps so I do use the phone alot. It's funny because I can see why Nate says no one can believe where I am because I am always somewhere different. LMAO!!!!!! You all are getting a taste of what a typical 2 week session is like for me. I will give you the run down of where I have been since 8/14. Here goes..

8/14 - came back to work off of vacation and left Baltimore for Miami.
Stopped for night in Florence, South Carolina Miles driven- 471

8/15 - finished drive towards Miami, stopped for night in Fort Pierce,FL
(100 miles North on Miami, I-95) Miles driven - 544

8/16- Delivered load in Miami, and the Florida Keys, started enroute for
Alexandria, Louisiana. Stopped for night 1 hour south of Orlando on FL
Turnpike in rest area. Miles driven - 388 chatted with HB55047
and Cathafer this night on IM,,, actually just about every night. LOL!!

8/17- Leave the Florida turnpike rest area enroute for Louisiana. Stopped for
the night in Hammond, Louisiana.(1 Hour north on New Orleans on I-12)
miles driven- 749 Talked with Craig this day

8/18- delivered load in Alexandria, Louisiana (1 hr north of Lafayette on I-49),
pickup new load in Lake Charles,LA.(west side of LA, site where
Hurricane Rita hit in La on I-10)(2 hours west of Baton Rouge). going to
Georgia for Monday delivery. stop again in Hammond Louisiana (got
plenty of time to get there) Miles driven --520. Talked with
Smitty and Kevin this day

8/19- Draggin azz to Georgia. Arrived in Conley, Georgia (outskirts of Altanta
off of I-285) 8 pm, left LA at 10:45 am with stops in between.
miles driven -- 491 spoke with Malik this day

8/20- sat back and chilled all day, only 1/2 hour from delivery destination.
No miles driven

8/21- delivered in Conyers, Ga (1/2 hour from Atl on I-20), picked up new load
in Fairmount, Ga (1 1/2 hrs north of Atl on State hwy 53 off of I-75),
stopped in Franklin, Ohio (30 miles north of Cincinnati) for the night.
Miles driven today-- 568 Load delivers in Cleveland on Thurs.
Going to stop by company location in Ohio to see if I can switch for
something else and not have to sit around until thursday. Realistically
could be in Cleveland tomorrow afternoon. We'll see. Got to keep
moving, cause if the wheels aint truning, I aint earning. LOL!!!!!
