Cathy, you ALSO sound busy right now. $35k in water damage??? That sucks. Hope insurance covers most (if not ALL) of it. As for the Tanabe Medallion Touring install you mentioned, I HAVE THE EXACT SAME EXHAUST on my car. At first it was too loud for me, but now I have gotten used to it. I seriously considered selling it at first though. But I LOVE the WOT deep roar, love the sound with the windows down, and I LOVE the way it looks, nice shiny canisters, and beautiful over-sized tips. But with the windows up, when I was just cruising, it was a little loud for me. And unfortunately, I have an aftermarket bumper so the exhaust tucks into the bumper so you can't see the tips from the side. So I'm actually hoping to have the tips extended tomorrow. ..at Black Smith Racing. I would love to see your exhaust too. You shouldn't have the tuck-in problem, so it probably looks FANTASTIC. Any pix yet?

Yes, I'll be in LI on Thursday or Friday (probably Friday afternoon), and then back in Manhattan/Brooklyn Friday night into Saturday (this is next week around Labor Day weekend). Nate, keeping a good thought for wifey, here's hoping for a healthy baby and a healthy mother with a fast recovery. Yes, chrome looks great against our black cherry finishes, consider it. I'm thinking of going 20" next year too. I want 10" out back (or 10.5" or 11" if I can get my fenders shaved and splash guards melted back). Let us know what that wierd wheel noise is too, just curious.

Rising Sun, glad to hear the engine swap has held up well. I'll be in NY next week for a quick trip with some friends...but I'll be back. I would bring you crabs, but they'd stink up my car in a heartbeat. LOL You might have to make that trip to Maryland after all.

nope no pics yet...i havent received it yet should be here by friday...hopefully installed on saturday the one you have is the under 93 db one? from what i've heard from the other is'ers is that its pretty quiet..we'll see
insurance covered all of the damage...$35k is what they gave me...repairs with upgrades (stone counter tops, solid wood cabinets and new wider moldings and such) only came out to be about $33k and the house is going to look so much better than it did when it was first built last year i'll post some pics of that when its finished too

Am planning some NY trips for the fall, am working towards getting some things straight first. Still gonna get with you on some of the things we discussed and drop some jaws next season. LOL!!!! Kev buddy, sorry I havent been posting in awhile I've been busy dealing with this real estate market as well. I'm surprised Myrtle Beach would be a problem, that area seen alot of interest lately. Looks like my car will just have to wait until the spring for it debut. I think you guys will like whats been done with it. I'll be posting more now that things have calmed down so I'll touch base with you again.

 

Cant wait to see the finished product, SC. Hang in there. If we have any local meets, just come on out and stop through. You can hang without having your car, you know that.

The summers been a really hectic one, with me moving 2 Boston for college, But im am up here now and glad to see that everyone on the sites doing good except 4 Batmans little incident(Sorry 2 hear about that dude).Hopefully ill be back and forth to NY to visit fam and get some mods done, because i dont know any reputable places in MASS.
