NYC driver, tire size
i'm looking at Dunlop SP Sport Maxx at 245/40/19...
OR
at 245/35/19
i understand the 40 might have some rubbing issues? might have to foll fenders... but my car isn't lowered so i shouldn't expect it (confirm that). with offset at +38?
or do i need to go with 35s to avoid rolling of fenders and avoid rubbing.
98 GS4, not lowered, 8.5 front, 9.5 rear, +38 offset
note, i'm in flushing queens heh

Since it isn't dropped, it should not rub the fender liner. If you plan to drop it, then there is a possibility of rubbing. Just look at Sputnick's thread about needing a baseball bat on this forum.
Hey JT, did you read henry's(rominl) thread in the tire section? He has tons of info on tire selection for the GS. I'm running the fat setup and I did get rubbing issues on the left rear. Then again it could be the fact that i was dropped to no finger gaps.
I have since raised it to 1 finger gap. I also have 38 offsets in the rear and I'm running 275/35/19's. You should be fine.
Also you have to fix your sig. Final dimensions cannot exceed 450x100 pixels.
