Batmobile's almost done. Need help or suggestions.
Hey guys... just like the title says... the batmobile's (97 sc4) almost FINALLY done. (non turbo) I am almost ready for our upcoming meets but I have a little dilemma though... hoping my fellow NELOC members could give me a helping hand.
Espelir ASD's are on. Waiting for my back tires to come in....once that happens 19" Axis Milano's coming on
I have the bomex front on (broken one: new ones in the garage and the bomex sides on. Finally got the full bomex rears in waiting to be painted and put on. (Fitments PERFECT)
Now here's where i need help
I would like to know if i could some how do it myself or a good body shop in the NorthEast area that won't overcharge me. I like to do things myself and if i can.... i would. What i need done is to repaint my back bumper....because it's black but with metallic flakes on it and doesn't match perfectly with the regular onyx. Not to be cheap but I am , there's no way i could buy black spray paint from pepboys with a couple of clear coats and wax it down to look the same could i? Also in the fifth picture where you see the back driver's side the line where the back bumper and rear quarter panel meets is not perfect. back bumper is in about 1cm. Dunno what happened. anyway to bend it back or fix it somehow? I know the factory bumper is poly-urethane which is a bit easier to flex so i was wondering if there were any suggestions for that? BFI, should i even do it? does it sound better or have any impact on speed? Also looking to mold my side skirts to my car's body, can i buy the fix a fiberglass can at pepboys to do that? i've read the instructions but any first hand do's and don'ts would be very helpful. Or should i just go to a body shop? Last, my Borla exhaust.... there on but not perfectly in the middle of the holes... there actually sort of touching my bumper, that's not too good i don't think...anyway to fix it or should i not even worry about it. any help suggestions comments would be great. thanks NELOC.

IMO your car needs a lot of TLC. For the exhaust, try getting longer exhaust hangers. If you spray paint your bumper and cleacoat it, it will just look like shiny flat black, not the black shade of the OE paint. Also, it would be as dark as the OE paint since black paint in a can tends to be "lighter" in its shade of color.
