NELOC and NORTHEAST forums open

I see both NELOC and northeast forums open.
Wont this be confusing to the newbies on where to post?
Shouldnt northeast be closed?
I maybe ignorant

Neloc is more setup as a meeting place. Meet and greet and organizing meets. NE Forum will still remain the same. You are right it could be confusing.
