Up for sale is my 1 year old SL2Vi Soundlinq2
The unit works mint however upon removal the tech rip off the plug for the IPOD connection...picture shown. Just removed from my 2005 LS on June 8th from and I am using blue tooth music connectivity in my LS460 for music other wise I would just get another VAIS product.
A new wire one can be had from VAIS ($30) or off ebay.

as an additional OEM CD changer, MD changer or MP3 audio device. And
since the SoundLinQ2 system utilizes the factory audio system
connectors, it installs easily without compromising your vehicle’s

Audio input dedicated for Apple® iPod™ can only be used for iPod™ integration. Control of iPod™ is done through your head unit or the steering wheel controls.
To switch between the SL2i sources you need to use “DISC” or “CD” button on the head unit
If your vehicle is equipped with a factory steering wheel control you
will be able to switch between the SL2i sources using “MODE” button on
the steering wheel.
[TRACK+] and [TRACK-] – Select desired track (song).
[DISC+] and [DISC-] – Select desired playlist (CD and MD emulation).
[DISC+] and [DISC-] – Select desired browsing mode (CD-MP3 emulation).
[FOLDER+] and [FOLDER-] – Select desired playlist, album, artist, genre, audiobook, podcast,
depends on browsing mode (CD-MP3 emulation).

Do you know who sell the iPod plug for SL2Vi now. I contacted vaistech they wrote me below: Halim,
Unfortunately SL2Vi units were discontinued and we no longer have any
replacement parts for them. I'm sorry.
