purchased 2 years ago from dealership. its been babied and hardly driven. maintenance has been kept up. i still have carfax from the dealership. never driven in rain atleast since ive owned it. NO RUSH TO SELL. shoot offers, worst case ill say no. CEL light came on for IACV but havent bothered changing it cause car currently idles fine and barely driven. for more details or questions or pics just shoot msg!

Got any daytime no filter pics of the exterior and engine bay?
hows the body/paint?
all gauges work?
timing belt, water pump, seals done?
also what wheels are included for the $8k price? and got pics of those?

I can get more new pics once it stops raining over here. Engine bay is clean and stock, do you want pics with or without the engine plastic cover?
(lex is300 stock wheels as spares for 8k)
Its got a BFI and a new radiator installed 3k miles ago.
Timing belt and seals were done at its last service at the dealership around 80-90k interval(its on the carfax ill find it and confirm it) and gauges all work perfect.
paint is a 8/10 just your average rock chips, clear coat chipping off from bottom of side skirts

what is a BFI?
Without the engine cover and also pics from the driver side door view?
is the driver seat starting to get holes?
also pics of floor mats?

sorry been busy and weather hasnt helped. But i have the pics you asked for
BFI just stands for Big Freakin Intake
yes front driver seat has holes on bottom *see pic*
and floor mats are just some basic aftermarket black floor mats

Is this still available? I’m pretty interested but I’m located in CA and would have to make quite the trek or get it delivered. Did you ever find out the fix for the CEL or if repairing/replacing the IACV would solve the issue? How is the idle from cold after several minutes? Thanks.

Yes still available. I havent tried putting on a different iacv but thats the code its throwing. I can OBD scan it and send you a pic of it. Idles fine until its really warm then it gets low but i just drive it with AC on and it idles normal around 750-850rpm. I still drive it 1-2 a week with no issues.

I wanted to know more about the issue and from what I could find, this looks to be someone with the same issue in the 98 LS400: https://www.clublexus.com/forums/ls-...when-warm.html

and someone in the thread seems to have a similar gig where they were told its an IACV problem but a TPS replacement did the trick: https://www.clublexus.com/forums/ls-...ml#post9011860

Someone else in that thread also says that the 1UZ VVTI doesn't even have an IACV.

At any rate, I probably won't be a prospective buyer from you due to the distance. Thanks anyways for answering my questions. Hope the links I dropped might give you some help if you choose to address the issue.

Heater work?
Smoker or non-smoker vehicle?
stains on carpet?
any hesitation or miss under acceleration?

just your average lexus minor power steering fluid leak.
AC and heater both work great
non smoker
no stains
drives normals shifts normal
no start issues or problems
Antenna doesnt work?
