Hi I recently acquired 1 2006 Lexus Rx400h. I do a 130 mile trip regularly started to get a "Check VSC System" warning. The code comes up as P3105 "Battery ECU Communication Circuit Malfunction"
My local shop gave me the code but suggested taking it to the dealer. He is highly rated and nearest dealer is not "near".

Is this a common error? Should another show maybe more "Hybrid oriented" be able to diagnose this? is there a suggested code reader for the car? I plan to own it for a while

The back seat pass side floor area has a vent. Make sure nothing is in front of it.

 

Did you check the battery blower motors?

 

Did you get this resolved? My daughters car got p3105 and the whole car completely stops working so she has to pull over and "reboot"
