Engine oil low light on
Once the engine in my 08 IS250 is about as warm as it is going to get & only after it is at that point, the “low engine oil” warning light comes on, but the dipstick shows that my oil level is fine. Is this just a bad sensor?

Most likely yes, jack it up and test the sensor (right on the bottom of your oil pan) and connector and make sure everything is good there and that the sensor is giving a bad read. Then just replace it next oil change, this happens to German cars all the time in the 5 series stuff
